Commonwealth Magistrates’ and Judges’ Association
Since March 2017 the Judicial Conference of Australia has been a member of the Commonwealth Magistrates’ and Judges’ Association (‘CMJA’) as a Member Association. This is seen as desirable for a number or reasons, including that the JCA can make a significant contribution, through its membership of the CMJA, to the maintenance and improvement of the independence of the judiciary under the rule of law, particularly in the Pacific Region.
The CMJA publishes the Commonwealth Judicial Journal. CMJA members can access the journal for free from their accounts. Alternatively, non-CMJA members can purchase a copy for a small charge. To do so, click here.
The CMJA also publishes a newsletter, the CMJA News. To read Vol 47, click here.
